Fridays after 8:00 a.m. Mass until midnight in Parish Center.
Weekdays from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. in the church.
Our Perpetual Adoration program was introduced in 1992 by our pastor, Father Maloney. We have adoration each weekday for one hour before the 8:00 a.m. Mass and on Fridays from after the 8:00 a.m. Mass until midnight in the Parish Center. During this twenty-four hour period, we have exhibition of the Blessed Sacrament at which time parishioners may spend one hour (or more) with our Lord.
We have a number of parishioners who have committed themselves to one specific hour per week. If someone cannot keep their commitment, he or she may call one of two coordinators who in turn contact a substitute to keep that hour.
This program is enjoyed by all who participate. There are some members who come for one hour on Friday when they are not committed to another responsibility. The program offers all a feeling of joy and gratefulness to the Lord for all He has done for them. It is a wonderful way to be in contact with the Lord and enjoy calm and quiet.
AVILA HOLY HOUR 7:40 a.m. on First Saturdays.
The Avila Holy Hour is a diocesan association of prayer for vocations. The parish members of this group meet the first Saturday of each month to spend one hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
HOLY HOUR FOR LIFE 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Third Saturdays.
Members of the parish are invited on the third Saturday of each month to pray the Rosary for Life before the Blessed Sacrament from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
